The Wilton Tip Saver is a tool designed to restore misshapen icing tips to their original shape. To use it, place the metal tip over the tool's cone-shaped end, apply the cover, and gently twist back and forth. This restores the round shape and ensures proper tip functionality. 
How to Use the Wilton Tip Saver
Insert Tip: Slide the damaged decorating tip (standard size) into the narrow end of the barrel-shaped section.
Restore Shape: Fit the knob end of the cone-shaped section into the tip.
Twist: Apply light pressure and twist the tool back and forth until the tip is straightened.
Remove: Use your finger or a pencil to push the tip out if it becomes stuck. 
Note: The Tip Saver is designed to restore tips that have been crushed or deformed.
